Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operation, including experience with different types of trailers such as refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker. The Truck Driver will ensure timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Routes could include OTR (but not limited to): Sacramento, CA. Fresno, CA. Ontario, CA. Austin, TX. San Antonio, TX. Wylie, TX. Job Duties Include (but not limited to): Load, secure and protect product on delivery truck and safely transport to destination. Load and unload product on truck for delivery from Distribution center. Pick-up product from customer and other Avanti locations. Routinely inspect truck and trailer for safety. Ability to use a forklift (training on site). Any other duties as assigned by manager.

Ability to meet all requirements set forth by

FMCSR 391.11.

Have current satisfactory MVR (driving record), valid CDL and DOT physical (can be completed once hired). Ability to use the ELD device per FMCSA for logging hours of service-of-service and records of duty. Ability to embrace, improve, and more importantly enjoy the opportunity to grow with a rapidly growing company. Ability to communicate professionally with team members and trades on and off job site and always maintain professional appearance. Punctual and reliable. Ability to work 10+ hours a day. Ability to use proper PPE when handling windows/patio doors. Ability to lift to 50lbs multiple times per day with occasional lifts more than 75lbs. Ability to push/pull rolling product and part carts more than 500lbs. Ability to carry/lift to 175lbs (team lift) for windows and patio doors for delivery. If approved, to drive a company vehicle must meet all Avanti company vehicle and driving requirements. Avanti Windows & Doors is a leading manufacturer and installation contractor of vinyl window and door systems throughout the Southwest. Avanti produces and installs windows for 19 of the Nation's top 30 single-family homebuilders, within the Phoenix, Prescott, Tucson, Las Vegas, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Fresno, and Sacramento markets. Avanti sets the standard for providing window products and installation services for the Big Builder customer.
