Job Description
Job Summary Hiring CDL Drivers - 14 & 16 Wheel Semi Trucks Looking for experienced CDL drivers for hauling dirt, gravel, aggregate, debris, and similar materials throughout the East Valley. Yard is based in the East Valley, but job locations may vary depending on projects. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques or mechanical equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records. Follow all traffic laws and company policies during transportation activities to ensure safety for yourself and others. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transit. Assist with vehicle maintenance or minor repairs when necessary, demonstrating mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot common issues. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery operations with a focus on safety and efficiency. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy trucks and familiarity with manual transmissions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle cargo loading/unloading tasks effectively. Experience operating specialized vehicles including front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or flatbeds is highly preferred. Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for heavy vehicle operation. bilingual encouraged (Spanish/English)
