As a key player in our transportation network, you will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards set by FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation). Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will drive our success and keep goods moving efficiently. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, containers Navigate using GPS systems to ensure timely delivery across over-the-road routes and port facilities. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards. Load & unload trailers efficiently, ensuring proper trailer placement and cargo security during transit. Maintain accurate documentation for deliveries, shipments, load manifests, and compliance logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, port authorities, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues promptly. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license. Prior delivery driving experience involving route driving across diverse terrains. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or Hazmat transportation is highly desirable. Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT safety standards, hazardous materials regulations, and logistics cargo handling procedures. Experience operating manual transmission trucks is preferred but not mandatory if willing to learn. Ability to navigate using GPS navigation systems confidently during long-haul trips. Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading techniques for freight safety and efficiency. Excellent manual handling skills for safe load & unload operations in various environments.
