Key Responsibilities Delivering freight with both containers and flatbeds Willing and able to do flatbed once trained and when needed Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers Assisting workers in loading and unloading trucks Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle Adherence to all safety requirements and guidelines Driving and operating different types of trucks Secure, and check for proper securement of all loads Adhere to all safety rules, policies and guidelines Maintains compliance with all applicable laws/rules/regulations on a federal, state, agency, and municipal level Performing general duties required to complete work Performing other duties as assigned Required Experience CDL Class A license 2 years class A experience Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), must be able to obtain within 30 days of hire Ability to pass a company-sponsored road test/ equipment certification for the applicable equipment Preferred Experience 6 months experience container 6 months experience flatbed
