Job Description

We are currently looking for a Water Truck Driver who is passionate about working at a 94-space all-age Manufactured Housing Community in Castaic. California. Essential Duties Provide a full range of maintenance duties including, but not limited to: Safely pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed via verbal or written instructions. Evaluate the daily load hauling schedule to figure out the most efficient route to follow when going to locations. Accurately gauge water tank when hauling water on a daily basis. Fill out tickets at locations as well as at the disposal site to report volume of water hauled/transferred. Assure that paperwork such as timesheets, water tickets, and records of loads hauled/transferred are completed accurately and forwarded to supervisor daily. Ensure that the truck is maintained and in good working condition. Notify supervisor of all problems immediately and perform minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs as necessary. Responsible for conducting all field activities safely and accurately. Responsible for operating and maintaining all company equipment & property within safe operating standards. Other duties as required by supervisor. Skills Required Must have a Class A driver's license. Basic mechanical skills to work on a water truck Good organizational skills to complete, organize, and forward water tickets, vehicle inspection reports, and driver's daily logs in a timely manner; also to plan the most efficient route to follow when picking up loads
