Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Class A Driver, operating solo or in teams to deliver freight across long distances with energy and professionalism. Whether you prefer solo routes or team driving, this position is designed to keep you moving forward with purpose and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-refrigerated trailers. Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries. Load and unload freight following proper manual handling procedures and logistics cargo handling protocols. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), and safety standards during transportation and delivery processes. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in compliance with FMCSA regulations. Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate maintenance needs to ensure optimal operation of equipment. Load and unload freight at various locations, ensuring proper securing of cargo for safe transit. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered on the road. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on over-the-road (OTR) routes and delivery driving. Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling for refrigerated trailers Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments. Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules. Strong driving skills with a clean safety record; ability to manage long hours on the road responsibly. Excellent manual handling skills for load & unload tasks while maintaining safety standards.
