Full Job Description Description:
The Driver (Non CDL) is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to scheduled job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. This associate will assist with all warehouse functions as well as the loading and unloading of trucks.Responsibilities:
Performs daily pre-trip inspections, including pre-inspection forms and completes minor maintenance if needed. Reports any mechanical or maintenance related issues to the Division Manager in a timely manner. Performs shipping and receiving duties, including data entry of orders, verifying quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing materials, and documentation. Completes daily logs in compliance with company policies and regulations. Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading. Ensures the customer's signature on the receipt of material and collects on COD charges when specified. Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy. Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders. Reports any issues to the Division Manager that were discovered at the job site.Requirements:
Qualifications :
One year of verifiable experience driving a straight truck (26' box truck, automatic transmission, or similar vehicle), required. Ability to receive and maintain a med card, required. Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. and climb in/out back of the vehicle. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider's requirements.Benefits :
