In this role, you'll be responsible for safely transporting freight within local routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols. This position offers an energetic work environment where your skills in driving, cargo handling, and route management will shine. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, dry-van, containers and other specialized equipment for local delivery routes. possible unload freight using manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to follow designated routes and meet delivery schedules. Manage logistics cargo handling by inspecting loads, verifying documentation, and ensuring proper weight distribution. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and truck safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered during trips. Requirements
