This role involves operating large commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of driving experience, possess a valid CDL A license, and be committed to maintaining high safety standards. The position offers 60 cents per mile with consistent weekly pay and the opportunity to return home every week, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. Duties Safely operate CDL A trucks to transport freight over long distances according to scheduled routes Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety standards and company guidelines Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly Back to home every week, ensuring consistent rest periods and personal time Qualifications Minimum of two years of commercial driving experience with a valid CDL A license Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to traffic laws Ability to operate large trucks and handle various road conditions confidently Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and clients Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures Reliable, responsible, and committed to safety standards Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently during long hauls This position is ideal for experienced drivers seeking a stable role with regular home time, consistent weekly pay, and the opportunity to showcase their driving abilities.
