Crew Leader Overview Join our dynamic team as a Crew Leader/Driver, where you will play a vital role in overseeing landscape maintenance projects while leading a dedicated crew to deliver exceptional results. This energetic position combines hands-on landscaping, lawn care, and horticultural tasks with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. As a Crew Leader/Driver, you will be the driving force behind quality service, team coordination, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Your expertise in landscaping, tree care, irrigation, and construction will help transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional landscapes. Duties Lead and supervise a crew of landscape technicians to execute maintenance, planting, pruning, and installation projects with precision and professionalism Safely operate company vehicles and equipment to transport tools, materials, and team members to job sites Coordinate daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor crew performance to ensure timely project completion Perform landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, gardening, tree care, irrigation system installation and repair, and general horticultural work Conduct site inspections to assess project needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety standards are upheld throughout all activities Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress Maintain equipment and tools through regular inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation Qualifications Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, lawn care or related outdoor work environments Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction settings Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, tree care techniques, irrigation systems, and general gardening skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate trucks safely and efficiently Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor projects is a plus Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members alike Join us if you're passionate about creating stunning outdoor spaces while leading a motivated crew!
