This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a range of commercial trucks, and refrigerated trailers, while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be the vital link in our logistics chain, transporting goods with precision and professionalism to meet our customers' needs. Your expertise in route driving, load handling, and vehicle operation will drive our success forward. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks including, refrigerated trailers, across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load and unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials and dangerous goods in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and hazardous materials regulations. Navigate using GPS systems to follow designated routes efficiently while adapting to traffic conditions and route changes. Transport automobile parts or other cargo securely on flatbed or specialized trailers, maintaining the integrity of the load throughout transit. Comply with all DOT (Department of Transportation), FMCSA, and hazardous materials regulations during every phase of operation. Deliver freight promptly to various destinations, managing delivery documentation and verifying cargo accuracy. Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips; report maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission preferred. Auto availability as well. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in diverse environments. Knowledge of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading techniques, and manual handling safety procedures. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and execution. Strong understanding of DOT regulations, FMCSA rules, and safety standards for over-the-road trucking operations.
