Job Description

About the role Join a pipeline rehab crew doing CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) and dig-and-replace work on water and sewer projects statewide. You'll be the primary operator of our Vac-Con combination trucks (our entire fleet is Vac-Con), handling line cleaning, hydro-excavation, and debris/liquid hauling, and you'll work alongside the crew in the field when the truck isn't running. On-the-job training available. What you'll do Operate Vac-Con combo trucks: jetting, vacuuming, debris removal, hydro-excavation/potholing, and offloading at approved disposal sites Complete pre-/post-trip inspections and driver logs; handle routine truck upkeep (hoses, nozzles, filters, boom) and submit maintenance work orders Support CIPP installs: pre-clean lines, site setup, liner handling, manhole entry, cuts/reinstatements, housekeeping Support dig & replace: potholing utilities, trenching, backfill/compaction, traffic control Follow entry permits, report hazards, contain spills, and keep streets, drains, and access points clean What you bring Class A or B CDL with Tanker (N) and Hazmat (H) endorsements (or X endorsement) 1+ year operating a vacuum/combination truck (Vac-Con, Vactor, or similar) 2+ years outdoor construction (CIPP, water/sewer, or underground utilities) Confined-space capable; able to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather Clean MVR for the past 2 years (no suspensions or major violations) Able to travel 75-90% with nights/weekends as needed Must pass drug screen and background check Pay $25/hour for drive time hauling crew and equipment to and from job sites Prevailing wage for all on-site work, up to $79/hour depending on classification and county. Every project we run is public works, so the majority of your hours are paid at prevailing wage. Expected 35-40+ hours per week, with overtime as projects require Lamassu Utility Services, Inc. is an AA/EOE. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.
