This energetic position demands a dedicated professional who is passionate about adhering to safety standards and delivering exceptional service. As a HAZMAT DRIVER, you will be responsible for the secure and compliant transportation of dangerous goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will contribute to our commitment to safety and efficiency on the road. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped for hazardous materials following all DOT (Department of Transportation) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Transport hazardous and dangerous goods via over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with hazardous materials regulations and proper documentation at all times. Load and unload freight with precision, utilizing manual handling techniques and equipment to ensure cargo integrity and safety. Use GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes, monitor delivery progress, and adapt to traffic or route changes proactively. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, inspection reports, and incident documentation in accordance with DOT regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and cargo to identify potential safety issues or compliance violations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate deliveries, report issues promptly, and ensure smooth logistics operations. Willing to be over the road 3-4 days a week Lanes CA, AZ and NV Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on delivery driving, route driving, or freight transportation. Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with endorsements for Hazmat (hazardous materials), tanker as applicable. Demonstrated knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safe manual handling procedures for dangerous goods. Skilled in truck loading and unloading techniques, including manual transmission operation and tractor-trailer management. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and route planning for efficient over-the-road deliveries. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols related to hazardous materials transportation. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as manual handling of cargo and truck loading/unloading processes. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in hazardous material transport is highly preferred. Join us as a
