Work Type:

Local routes — home daily Responsibilities

• Safely operate company box trucks on assigned local routes.
• Pick up and deliver freight to customers and businesses.
• Load, unload, secure, and handle freight safely.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all DOT, company, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate delivery and pickup paperwork.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, deliveries, and route issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Use proper lifting and material-handling techniques.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately. Qualifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Commercial driving experience preferred.
• CDL experience is a plus, but not required for qualified candidates.
• Previous box truck, delivery, freight, or transportation experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move freight as required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes.
• Professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.
• Must be willing to follow company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
