Job Description

Sugar Lips Mini Donuts is looking for a reliable driver to tow our event trailer to and from bookings, with flexible pay-per-event work on your own schedule. You'll tow our trailer to events (some local, some up to an hour away), hitch and unhitch it safely on-site, load and haul equipment, and sometimes deliver staff in your truck, and help set up and break down as needed. We need someone who owns a truck capable of towing a small load trailer and has a truck bed for hauling gear, has real trailer towing experience (including backing up, not just driving forward with one hitched), is comfortable with basic trailer safety checks like tire pressure and hitch/safety chains, has a clean driving record and valid auto insurance, can comfortably lift and load equipment (around 50 lbs), and is available for early morning or late night events depending on the booking. Strong communication is a must — we need to know you're on track, especially for early, late, or last-minute events. Event, catering, or hospitality experience is a plus, as is being comfortable around the chaos of event setup, and availability as a backup driver on short notice for busy weekends. Pay is $25/hour base plus mileage reimbursed based on your vehicle's MPG. Most events are scheduled a month or two out, but some come up last-minute, so flexibility helps. This is a very part-time position, and I am looking to hire a few drivers that way we all have increased flexibility.

$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 10.0 per week
