Job Overview Join our team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across diverse routes with energy and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a Day-Cab tractor, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Your expertise in logistics cargo handling, route driving, and compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations will drive our success. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency. Transport various types of general freight across regional routes. Ensure adherence to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA guidelines during all driving activities. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and report any issues promptly. Load & unload cargo efficiently while maintaining safety standards; handle manual transmission trucks with skill and precision. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Valid TWIC card Proven experience in commercial truck driving, delivery driving, or route driving with a focus on freight transportation. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations and safety standards for truck loading/unloading. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems effectively for route planning. Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling processes and safety protocols. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety during regional trips across Southern California. Pay:
$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
