CDL A Driver - $28/hr + OT | Monday-Friday | Early Start |
Seasonal OT Available Schedule:
Monday-Friday Start Time:
5:00-7:00
AM Pay:
$28/hr + OT after 40
Saturdays:
Occasional as‑needed (not mandatory). Peak season (May-September) includes optional Saturday runs.
Mandatory Saturdays:
The Saturday after Memorial Day and the Saturday after July 4th.
Hours:
50-60 hours/week during peak season; typical days are around 10 hours. Position Overview We are seeking reliable CDL A Drivers for local routes involving a combination of redemption center pick‑ups and bag collection from designated locations . Drivers will haul empty bottles and cans using 48ft rail‑gate dry vans. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys consistent routes, physical activity, and a steady weekday schedule. Key Responsibilities Complete 4 stops per day on assigned local routes. Pick up empty bottles and cans from redemption centers and designated bag‑collection sites. Identify, tag, and load large plastic bags of recyclable containers. Lift and carry bags weighing up to 50 lbs ; typically 5-6 bags at a time by hand. Load bags onto the trailer safely and efficiently. Communicate with dispatch regarding route progress or issues. Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures. Unloading at the warehouse is handled by warehouse staff — drivers only load.
