Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Class A Truck Driver, where you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a tractor-trailer equipped for refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker loads, adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. You will be responsible for transporting goods home every day erly morning start time managing cargo handling, and maintaining high safety standards on every trip. Your expertise in commercial truck driving and route navigation will keep our supply chain moving seamlessly while providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA and DOT reregulations handling techniques, including logistics cargo handling for various types of cargo such as hazardous materials, dangerous goods, or specialized loads like tanker or flatbed shipments. Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimal routes, adjusting for traffic or weather conditions to meet delivery schedules. Transport refrigerated trailers, ensuring proper temperature control and handling per hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Document delivery details accurately, including logs for hours of service (HOS), cargo documentation, and incident reports if necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments while maintaining professional customer service standards. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid Class A CDL license. Demonstrated proficiency in driving tractor-trailers with manual transmission across long-distance routes. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials transportation is highly desirable. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, hazard communication protocols, and safety procedures related to dangerous goods. Experience freight handling, and route driving within logistics environments. Ability to operate GPS navigation systems efficiently and adapt to changing route conditions. Prior delivery driver experience with a strong focus on safety, manual handling skills, and adherence to transportation regulations.
