Metals USA is a solid, growth-oriented aluminum/stainless steel distribution center servicing the defense, aerospace, and fabrication industries. The Non-CDL Truck Driver completes assigned deliveries and pick-up of merchandise and assists with shipping and receiving responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Drives a van and/or box truck to transport and deliver materials Maneuvers truck into loading and unloading positions. Operates company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner. Routinely inspects and maintains vehicle daily, complete driver's logs and reports in compliance with FMCSR daily. Picks up and accurately delivers merchandise and corresponding paperwork in a timely manner. Keeps a clean and well maintained delivery vehicle, internal and external. Ensures customer messages/communications are relayed to appropriate management. Secures loaded cargo into truck; safely load & unload materials using a winch, hoist and/or forklift. Delivers paperwork and communications between Gregor Technologies, customers and vendors. Assists with stocking the shipping and receiving department to include lifting and carrying cartons and placing them on appropriate shelves. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. Notifies management of product discrepancies or malfunctions, and or personal injuries. Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Graduate or Equivalent Ability to comprehend oral/written/communication Must possess a current, valid driver's license in good standing. Must be organized with attention to detail Should possess Mechanical Skills Computer Literacy to include GPS Represents the organization with professionalism and diplomacy, and maintains the highest level of customer confidentiality Must have a Clean Driving Record and remain in compliance with DOT requirements Must always demonstrate the highest level of Customer Service/Relations Metals USA offers a competitive starting hourly range of $24.00
