Job Description
. This is a full time position on a government site. You must be a US citizen and must be able to pass a comprehensive background check is required PROVEN Management, LLC headquartered in Washington DC is seeking a truck/driver for a government client located in the Washington DC area. An ideal candidate will have proven work experience as a truck driver with hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations, No recent moving or driving violations, Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Valid Class B CDL for a Minimum of 2 years. This position requires a fully vaccinated candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicates and coordinates with dispatchers Obeys and follows applicable traffic laws Secures cargo and properly arranges and balances it within the vehicle Maintains a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations Ensures any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving Maintains effective customer service for all internal and external customers always. Capable of loading, unloading, and moving heavy bulky furniture and equipment or expensive, delicate computer equipment using proper techniques. Utilize knowledge of standard practices of furniture and equipment, pull and stage equipment for shipment to various sites, package equipment for shipment and prepare the necessary paperwork. Be mobile and move between buildings/work areas without assistance. Work on hard surfaces and in work areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Readily complete all duties as assigned.

Required SALARY:
Negotiable depending on level of experience and education. PROVEN offers a full benefits package including vision, health, dental, life, and a 401k.
