Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL DRIVER and none CDL drivers drecome a vital part of our logistics operation! This energetic role offers the opportunity to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving. As a CDL DRIVER, you will operate a 53 foot trailer equipped transportation, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with manual or automatic transmissions, on diverse routes such as local deliveries and long-haul OTR routes Load and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo integrity and compliance with logistics cargo handling standards Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes and meet delivery schedules Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods following all Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure truck safety and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Load & unload freight accurately, verifying shipment contents against manifests while maintaining safety standards for truck loading and unloading procedures Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that arise during transit Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving within various environments Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, or automobile transportation is preferred Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT regulations, Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR), and safety protocols for hazardous goods handling Experience operating GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time adjustments Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently and perform manual handling tasks safely Prior experience in truck loading/unloading operations with freight handling expertise Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements such as Hazmat or Tanker is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a difference!
