Responsibilities Navigate using GPS systems to ensure accurate and efficient delivery route Maintain vehicle safety by performing routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, and reporting mechanical issues promptly. Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents. Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations regarding driver hours, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance. Document delivery logs accurately and complete necessary paperwork for each trip. Follow safety procedures related to hazardous materials handling and transportation of dangerous goods. Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving. Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution. Experience operating manual transmission trucks is a need . Understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, transportation requirements. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.
