PODS is hiring a Local CDL Class B Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you'll safely deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers on local routes. You'll perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure loads, and operate specialized equipment while following DOT and company safety standards. As the face of PODS, you'll provide friendly, professional service, communicate with dispatch, and keep accurate logs and delivery documentation. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers on local routes Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues Secure containers and loads to ensure safe transport and compliance with regulations Provide courteous, professional service at customer locations and resolve basic issues on-site Use routing tools and logs to follow schedules and maintain accurate delivery documentation Collaborate with dispatch and warehouse teams to coordinate daily assignments and container staging Follow all DOT, company, and safety policies to maintain a safe work environment Required Skills CDL Class B truck driving Local route navigation and mapping Vehicle safety inspection and basic maintenance Electronic logging/device use Cargo securement and weight distribution Customer service and communication Back-up and parking maneuvers in tight areas Time management and routing efficiency DOT and FMCSA regulation knowledge Paperwork and delivery documentation accuracy
