Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver for our PM Shift (Starting to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. The Truck Driver will operate refrigerated trucks. Responsibilities Safely operate assigned vehicles, including manual transmission trucks and refrigerated trailers. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules. Assist with securing loads to prevent shifting during transport. Operate forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately. Qualifications Driver MUST have at least 2 years of driving experience Experience driving refrigerated trucks. Knowledge of safe loading practices for refrigerated trailers and other cargo types. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed during loading/unloading processes. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. A clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years is preferred. Previous experience in truck driving or logistics is advantageous.
