Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for transporting and delivering plant products to Home Depot store locations across Florida, with occasional overnight runs deliveries (not exceeding two nights) to Georgia and South Carolina. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle to transport plants to assigned store locations Load and unload plant racks as needed, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules provided by the logistics team Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation Comply with all DOT regulations , traffic laws, and company policies Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and store personnel Work Schedule Primarily local routes within Florida and regional travel to Georgia and South Carolina Overnight trips may be required (not exceeding 2 nights per run) Flexible schedule, including early mornings and extended hours as needed High possibility of weekends and holidays off. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred Knowledge of safe driving practices and vehicle inspections Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull products as required Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Capability to stand, walk, bend, and climb as part of daily duties Additional Requirements Must maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at all delivery locations Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
