Lauderdale, FL For the CDL Driver position, a class B or A CDL license is required and must be able to pass a drug test, physical and background check. The roles for these positions would be working with our tree team to do tree services for our clients doing proper tree trimming and pruning tree practices. The CDL driver position, would be driving and operating the bucket truck and lift. It would be follow DOT safe driving practices and setting up safe zones for our team when working. This is a full-time position. Usual hours are 6am-4pm Monday-Friday but may vary. Pay is weekly. The tree trimmer would be working with bucket truck, hydraulic aerial lifts, ladders or spikes at considerable heights above the ground. This is physical labor position to operate, and maintain a variety of tree maintenance equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, saws, stump grinders. Cuts and removes dead or diseased trees, palm, and tree lifting and also to remove fallen trees and remove debris from grounds. Uses handsaws, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and pole saw to prune and manage growth of trees and shrubs. Trims, tops, and reshapes trees to remove low-hanging branches and to create more attractive shapes. Removes dead and excess branches from trees.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Tree and palm trimming Cut away dead or excess branches and shrubbery. Use chain saws, pole saws, power pruners Able to work crews to safely cut down limbs. Use lifts and power tools to gain access to high areas. Remove debris and take away large limbs for disposal. Utilize climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms. Use shovels and rakes to clean up debris. Manage and coordinate with work crews. Inspect trees to see if there are any issues, such as diseases, infections, insect damage or fungus. Ensure the worksite remains safe by putting up caution tape around the surrounding area if it is in a public space. Please submit resume for consideration for the position.
