Job Description

Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver Location:
Fort Pierce, FL Precast Specialties, LLC is seeking an experienced Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver to join our Fort Pierce team. The driver will operate a front-discharge ready-mix truck, ensuring timely and safe delivery of concrete to designated job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a front-discharge ready-mix truck, following all DOT and company safety regulations. Adjust concrete consistency as needed, accurately estimating slump and monitoring color mix. Attach and remove discharge chutes while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain truck cleanliness to prevent concrete buildup. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns. Complete all delivery tickets and required documentation clearly and accurately. Communicate regularly with the scheduling department regarding delivery status.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
CDL A license and at least 2 years of driving experience. Proven experience operating a front-discharge ready-mix truck (required). Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Physical ability to lift over 50 lbs regularly. Ability to operate truck controls safely and effectively. Adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations.
