Full Job Description Hiring Immediately :

Full-time driver helpers/laborers to assist route drivers in the collection & disposal of waste/recycling materials in residential communities.

Working Hours:

Monday - Sunday (3 am start/ lots of overtime!!)

Hourly Rate:

$16.00

Job Summary:

• Manually or mechanically load and empty residential and/or commercial containers into truck
• Operates hoisting device to lift and empty bins or containers into truck hopper
• Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch
• Containers maybe staged curb-side, dockside, carryout, or require pullout to complete service
• Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage as well as closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.

Work Environment:

• Required to use motor coordination with arm, hand, finger, and leg dexterity
• Normal setting for this job is outdoors in ALL weather conditions
• Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise
• Must be comfortable working independently with little to no supervision, and as a team

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Legally eligible to work in the United States Must be able to provide Gov't issued ID & Social Insurance Number verification Successfully complete a drug screen and background check, which will include previous employment check and criminal history Experience in a similar role (driver helper,garbage collection, landscaping, construction) required Ability to lift 60lbs or more as needed Available to work a full-time schedule Must have access to a vehicle/reliable transportation Spanish speaking considered an asset Interested applicants who meet the requirements are asked to submit a resume to this posting as well as contact the on-site recruiter at 786-773-4534.
