Job Description

Job Overview As a School Transportation Driver with New Era Transportation, you will safely transport children between their homes and school while providing reliable, friendly, and professional service. Drivers are responsible for ensuring passengers arrive safely and on time, following designated routes, and maintaining a safe environment throughout each trip. This part-time position offers approximately 5-6 hours of work per day and is ideal for dependable individuals who enjoy working with children and serving their community. Duties Safely transport children to and from school according to assigned routes and schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe for operation. Ensure all passengers are safely seated and following transportation safety guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle. Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatch as needed. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Report any accidents, incidents, delays, or vehicle maintenance concerns promptly. Provide courteous and dependable transportation services while creating a positive experience for passengers. Maintain punctuality and reliability for all scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs. Experience Previous professional driving experience is preferred but not required. Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and follow assigned routes and schedules. Experience working with children is a plus. Must be committed to providing safe, courteous, and reliable transportation. At New Era Transportation, we value safety, reliability, and professionalism. Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
