Job Description
Summary/Objective The driver for this position must be comfortable maneuvering and parking a 53' gooseneck step trailer strapping, hauling oversized loads, and hauling local routes.
Essential Roles:
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing load as needed on trailer Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules Schedule routine maintenance of truck as needed (refueling, cleaning, oil changes etc.) Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections Verifying load for accuracy and quality assurance Vacuum automatic loads Work on weekends for special deliveries Other duties as assigned Competencies Adaptability- Adapts to changes open to new ideas and responsibilities and creative solutions.
