Flatbed Full Job Description Truss Delivery Driver Duties:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport Trusses to designated locations
• Ensuring proper handling and securing of Trusses
• Plan and follow designated routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures while operating the vehicle
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and other required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving, preferably with tractor-trailer or similar vehicles
• Proficient in route driving and navigation
• Experience operating various types of trucks, and Oversized loads
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, including the use of manual transmission vehicles
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to trucking industry

Skills:

• Load/unload cargo safely and efficiently
• Route driving to ensure timely delivery
• Commercial driving experience
• Ability to operate tractor-trailer vehicles
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles
• Knowledge of freight handling procedures
