In this vital role, you will operate 26ft box trucks, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route planning, and cargo handling will keep our logistics moving smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to explore diverse routes, develop your driving skills, and be a key player in our transportation network. Duties Safely operate 26ft box truck Navigate using GPS systems to follow optimized routes for timely deliveries across various locations Load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring proper manual handling techniques to prevent damage or injury Transport automobile parts or other specialized cargo with precision and care Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations related to commercial truck driving, hazardous materials, and dangerous goods transportation Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with regulatory standards Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness for each journey Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience in delivery driving, freight transport, or similar roles involving route driving over long distances Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials regulations Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle tractor-trailers safely Knowledge of GPS navigation systems for effective route planning and real-time adjustments Strong understanding of truck loading/unloading procedures and logistics cargo handling techniques Commitment to following DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and safety protocols at all times Join us as an OTR Truck Driver and become part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
