Job Duties:

Drive a Tractor-Trailer Truck with a capacity of at least 23-25 tons. Transport materials such as dirt, rock, fertilizer ECT to specified locations from North Florida to South Georgia. Driver will not be required to transport Hazardous Materials. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations. Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations. Employer will discuss pay at time of interview. Driver will be home nightly.
