Job Description
Job Summary We are currently seeking skilled, reliable, and safety-focused CDL Class A Drivers to operate dump trucks involved in waste collection, construction, and material transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, basic mechanical knowledge, and experience working on construction sites. This position offers steady local work with consistent hours and overtime opportunities. Responsibilities Operate Class A or B CDL dump trucks for construction debris removal, and material transport. Safely maneuver trailers loaded with heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, and tractors as needed on and between construction sites. Perform routine inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance and report issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and vehicle maintenance. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and safety protocols during operations. Maintain and comply with CDL requirements Communicate effectively with team members and site managers to coordinate tasks efficiently. Experience Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with clean driving record. 3+ years experience with CDL Prior experience operating dump trucks. Basic mechanical knowledge related to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Construction site experience preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening Knowledge of Florida traffic laws and DOT safety regulations Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious What We Offer $20-$24/hr based on experience Overtime available (40-60 hrs/week average) Local routes - home daily Stable, long-term employment Medical, dental, vision insurance after 60 days employed 1 week vacation/ year Visit our website: cce.team
