Overview Join our dynamic team as a CDL Driver
  • Training and Learning Specialist, where you will play a vital role in shaping our team of drivers.
This energetic position combines hands-on truck driving with instructional expertise to deliver comprehensive training programs that ensure safety, compliance, and excellence in commercial driving. You will lead classroom sessions, supervise behind-the-wheel training, and uphold all federal and state regulations to foster confident drivers. Must have household goods moving experience. Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of driver training including but not limited to : safety training, rules of the road, documentation, packing instructions, and paper work included in each pick up and delivery. We are seeking a skilled Driver Trainer to join our team. The Driver Trainer will be responsible for providing training and guidance to new and existing drivers on safe driving practices and company policies.
Duties:
  • Conduct training sessions for new drivers on vehicle operation, safety procedures, and route planning
  • Evaluate driving skills and provide feedback to drivers for improvement
  • Develop training materials and resources to support driver education
  • Monitor driver performance and compliance with regulations
  • Coordinate with management to address any training needs or concerns
  • Demonstrate proper driving techniques and best practices
Qualifications:
  • Two + years of working with CDL Drivers
  • Two + years of Residential Moving Industry Experience
  • Articulate and confidence in speaking with a group of drivers, teaching rules and regulations in a classroom setting.
  • Proficient in commercial driving regulations and safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills to effectively teach and communicate with drivers
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicles to provide technical guidance during training sessions
  • Ability to assess driver performance objectively and provide constructive feedback Join our team as a Driver Trainer and help shape the next generation of skilled drivers.
Pay:
$1,000.00
