Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks to transport materials and goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of freight, adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs and vehicle maintenance reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads. Assist with the operation of forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required. Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably with experience in operating dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transportation. Ability to load and unload freight efficiently while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
