The ideal candidate is a hardworking team player with hands-on experience in asphalt milling and paving operations who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and understands the importance of keeping company vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A tri-axle dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites. Haul millings, asphalt, dirt, rock, aggregate, and other construction materials. Support asphalt milling and paving operations by hauling materials and assisting the paving crew as needed. Assist with loading, unloading, and transportation of construction equipment. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the assigned truck. Report mechanical issues, maintenance needs, or safety concerns promptly. Follow all company policies, job-site requirements, and applicable DOT safety regulations. Communicate effectively with supervisors, equipment operators, and paving/milling crews. Work safely around heavy equipment, milling machines, pavers, rollers, and active construction areas. Assist the field crew with general job-site duties when needed. Maintain accurate logs, delivery tickets, and other required paperwork. Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as project schedules require. Required Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license. Previous hands-on experience with asphalt milling and paving is
REQUIRED.
Previous tri-axle dump truck experience preferred. Experience hauling asphalt, millings, and construction materials. Experience transporting construction equipment. Knowledge of safe loading, unloading, and material-hauling procedures. Ability to perform basic truck inspections and identify maintenance issues. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a construction crew. Ability to work outdoors and around active construction equipment. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends when required. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, hardworking, and experienced in milling and paving operations . The right candidate will be comfortable working around milling machines and asphalt pavers, hauling materials, and helping the crew when needed. You should take pride in your truck, your work, and maintaining a safe and productive job site.
