PODS is hiring a CDL Driver to safely deliver and pick up portable storage containers for residential and commercial customers. In this field-based role, you'll operate CDL trucks, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and position containers using lift systems, and strictly follow DOT and company safety standards. You'll interact directly with customers, provide professional on-site service, solve basic service issues, and coordinate with dispatch and operations. Responsibilities Safely operate CDL vehicle to deliver and pick up PODS containers for residential and commercial customers Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs Secure containers and loads according to DOT and company safety standards Provide courteous, professional on-site customer service and resolve basic service issues Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic and weather conditions Communicate with dispatch and operations regarding route status, delays, and issues Operate lift systems and related equipment to position containers safely and accurately Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and procedures Report vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate service with fleet/maintenance teams Assist with yard organization, container staging, and other logistics tasks as needed Required Skills CDL truck operation Defensive driving
