Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team at IMM Quality Boat Lifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to trailer, and flatbed trucks. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Applicants must have a CDL and at least 3 years' experience. Most of our deliveries are same day return but we do deliver to the northeast and Louisiana. The longest you will be on the road is around 3-5 days, but this will usually be twice a month but can be more depending on business. Our drivers also assist with bundling freight, loading and unloading trucks. Applicants must be able to lift 100lbs repeatedly. After 90 days medical, dental and vision insurance will be available as well as paid vacation time. Duties Operate commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and freight carriers. Perform route driving to deliver products to designated locations on time. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed operations, tankers, and other specialized vehicles is a plus. Proven delivery driver experience with a strong understanding of route planning and navigation. Ability to operate forklifts and perform loading/unloading tasks safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
