Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Certified CDL Driver to join our transportation team! 2 Deliveries per day from Spring Hill to Tampa. Duties Safely operate vehicles following all traffic laws and transportation safety regulations Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Assist with needs to promote comfort and safety Navigate city streets efficiently using GPS and local knowledge while adhering to designated routes and schedules Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers via two-way radios for coordination and updates Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery records as required by DOT regulations Respond appropriately to adverse weather conditions or traffic disruptions to ensure passenger safety and timely arrivals Skills Valid CDL license with necessary endorsements such as air brake certification and passenger endorsement Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and identify potential issues Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and transportation standards at the federal, state, and local levels Excellent driving skills with experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving preferred Proficiency in vehicle inspections, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to assist passengers comfortably and professionally Effective communication skills for clear interaction with passengers, dispatchers, and team members Ability to operate two-way radios confidently for driver communication in real-time situations Experience navigating city streets confidently under various weather conditions including rain, snow, or fog Familiarity with transportation safety regulations such as DOT (Department of Transportation) rules and state transportation laws Join our team today if you're ready to drive your career forward with a company that values safety, professionalism, and excellent service!
