Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for Class A Drivers with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. 90-95% Monday through Friday. Home every night. Dump truck and/or dump trailer experience preferred but not required. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers, including dump trailers that will contain rock and sand Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. Comply with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations during all operations. Transport rock and sand materials following strict safety protocols. Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Document delivery logs, shipment details, and compliance records accurately for each trip. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate cargo handling and ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations. Skills Valid CDL A license with clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving. Proficiency in driving tractor while pulling a dump trailer Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT Regulations Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, route efficiency, and customer service. Ability to manage logistics cargo handling accurately while adhering to load securement standards.
