JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for operating a tractor and other equipment to construct and maintain county roads, rights-of-way and drainage systems .

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

Applicant must be at least 18 years of age, have ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Applicant must have sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had similar position for one to two years. Applicant must have possession of a Class A or Class B Commercial driver's license issued by the State of Georgia and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
