Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dependable Team Drivers to join our dynamic transportation team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and flatbed or tanker trucks to transport freight across various routes, including over-the-road (OTR) driving routes. Your focus will be on delivering freight efficiently while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and dry van, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations Load and unload freight with proper manual handling techniques, ensuring cargo safety and compliance with hazardous materials regulations when applicable Transport automobile transportation or hazardous goods safely, following all hazard-specific regulations for dangerous goods Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and vehicle inspections in accordance with FMCSA regulations Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure trucks are in optimal condition and report any maintenance needs promptly Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate delivery schedules, route adjustments, and cargo handling requirements Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving Strong knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures, including freight handling and securing cargo properly Familiarity with flatbed trucks, tanker trucks regulations Excellent navigation skills using GPS systems for efficient route planning on OTR routes Knowledge of DOT regulations concerning driver hours of service, safety standards, and hazardous materials handling Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with necessary endorsements for hazardous materials if applicable Ability to work as part of a team in high-pressure situations while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Team Driver if you're ready to hit the road with purpose! $2,400.00 - $2,500.00 per week
