Job Title:

Class A CDL Truck Driver Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to safely transport goods from our location to our customers while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Operate a commercial vehicle (tractor-trailer) in a safe and efficient manner Transport goods over local, regional, or long-haul routes as assigned Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Must be at least 22 years of age. Clean driving record (MVR) Must have at least 2 years experience driving commercial trucks. Current DOT medical card Valid previous employment information for 3 years Must pass a DOT approved drug test (Advanced Testing in LaGrange) Must have an MVR and Clearinghouse result that shows NO instances of serious violations, commercially or personally including: Reckless or Careless Driving Any history of drug or alcohol abuse. Hit and Run, Failure to report an accident, or leaving the scene of an accident Excessive speeding (15 mph or more above the speed limit) Cannot have more than 2 lesser violations in the past 3 years. Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and safety awareness Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 50-75 lbs (if applicable) Ability to climb, bend, and perform routine vehicle inspections Work Environment Outdoor and road conditions including varying weather Extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed) Travel required depending on route type Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $24 hourly • Personal Time Off (PTO) Pay o 5 days in the first year after 60-day probation period o 1 additional day of PTO for each year worked up to a maximum of 10 days total o PTO calendar is based on hire date and no PTO can be carried over or paid out.
  • Paid Holidays (6): New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
