Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Framer/Carpenter. In this role, you will oversee framing and carpentry operations on various construction projects, ensuring that all work is executed with precision, safety, and efficiency. You will guide the team through complex building processes, from interpreting technical drawings to managing on-site activities. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional results in construction. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate framing and carpentry across multiple projects, including metal building erection, wood framing, siding, trim and other like projects. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications Supervise and mentor team members, assigning tasks effectively while maintaining a safe work environment Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes while maintaining quality control throughout all phases of construction Skills Extensive experience in construction site management with a focus on framing, carpentry. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various construction disciplines Strong knowledge of wood stud framing, siding, restoration work, and remodeling projects Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and safety protocols on active job sites Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to measurements and material quantities Experience with construction plans management for metal building erection and other specialized structures
Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
