Lawrenceville, GA Schedule Set at Time of Hire 2nd shift options, start times will be gone over at the interview $22 Hourly, paid weekly We are looking for people that have at least 1 year experience with the Yard Jockey position. If you do not have the experience you will not be considered. This role will support operations at a major grocery retailer by ensuring that delivery vehicles are available, clean, and properly positioned to be loaded for deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Move vans from Yard to Fulfillment center Clean inside and outside of vans Perform inspection of vehicles both before, and after, operation Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs. Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets Ensure the yard is clean and organized Assist Delivery Drivers when necessary

Requirements:

Education and/or experience: Valid Driver's License (CDL not required) One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferred Knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work with limited supervision Physical requirements: Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to frequently get in and out of vehicles Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors and changing temperatures)
