Overview St Mary's Collections Driver & Plant Manager We are a small business based in GA that collects and refines used cooking oil to be used as feedstock in the manufacturing of renewable diesel. Our preferred candidate holds a CDL Class B or higher who can drive and execute daily duties in a safe and timely manner. Your daily route will consist of operating a vacuum truck (CDL & Non-CDL variants) to pump out used cooking oil from containers, often located in the back of restaurants. Along with used cooking oil collection you will occasionally be dropping off containers at new accounts, swapping containers, or picking up containers that are no longer in use. When you aren't driving you will be expected to manage oil processing operations at our Plant in St. Marys, GA. Plant operations involve using a trash pump to transfer raw oil (from collections) into process tanks, and once processing is complete, separating the water, and solids from the refined oil into separate holding tanks. Our preferred candidate is a self-starter who doesn't mind getting their hands a little dirty, able to perform basic small engine maintenance/repair, and able to climb a ladder to the top of a rail car. The preferred candidate shall have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and a clean background. Responsibilities Perform pre trip and post trip truck inspections Follow a route that will be set up for you on a daily basis Pump out used fryer oil from containers Drop off/pick up containers using a truck with a lift gate Off load trucks into holding tanks Transfer oil from process tanks to rail car Maintain accurate tank logs; recording gallons of volume as they move through different tanks in the refining process Coordinate water pick-ups with our water service provider Refurbish containers ( this includes using a pressure washer and some painting) Skills Class B CDL or higher (Preferred) Proven experience as a Driver A valid driver's license A clean driving record Knowledge of area roads; Eastern GA & Northeast FL Ability to lift some heavy loads Work Monday through Friday A polite and professional disposition Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour) Ability to clearly communicate through Email, Text, & Voice A high school diploma
