!!!!! Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tow Truck Driver and become the essential link in vehicle recovery and roadside assistance! In this energetic role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and perform minor mechanical repairs when needed. Your expertise will ensure vehicles are loaded, secured, and delivered efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills and driving experience make a real difference every day. Duties Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized models, to recover and transport vehicles. Perform vehicle loading and securement following cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assist with roadside issues. Assist customers courteously by providing clear communication, support during vehicle recovery, and ensuring a positive experience. Follow all safety procedures for vehicle recovery towing, cargo loading, and working around traffic or hazardous conditions. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle details, and incident reports for record keeping. Adhere to commercial truck driving regulations and maintain a valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements. Skills Proven experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, or mechanic work with a solid mechanical knowledge base. Strong driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and experience operating tow trucks or flatbed trucks. Knowledge of cargo securement protocols, manual transmission operation, and safe vehicle loading techniques. Excellent customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and resolve conflicts effectively. Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues using basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with vehicle recovery towing procedures and safety standards for roadside assistance. Strong conflict management skills to handle stressful situations calmly while maintaining safety standards.
