Copeland's Trucking Company is looking for an experienced CDL-A Flatbed & Step Deck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious driver who has experience hauling flatbed and/or step deck freight.

Compensation Estimated earnings:

$1,500-$3,000 per week This is a percentage-based position . Drivers are paid a percentage of revenue from loads hauled. The advertised weekly pay range represents estimated potential earnings and is not guaranteed . Actual weekly earnings vary based on loads hauled, workload, scheduling, availability, and time worked. There is no guaranteed minimum weekly pay. Requirements Valid Class A CDL Flatbed and/or step deck experience Must be able to operate a manual transmission Clean and acceptable MVR Must meet DOT requirements Must pass required drug testing Reliable transportation to and from work Dependable and able to report to work as scheduled Must be able to safely secure, tarp, and handle loads as required Must be willing and able to travel out of town and stay overnight when required Prefer applicants who live within approximately 40 miles of Thomaston, GA Job Duties Safely operate flatbed and step deck equipment Properly secure and tarp loads when required Travel out of town as needed based on load and scheduling requirements Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain required logs and paperwork Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures Communicate with dispatch regarding loads, deliveries, and scheduling Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean, professional condition What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced driver who takes care of the equipment, communicates well, shows up when expected, and takes pride in doing the job safely and correctly.
