Yard Driver -2nd Shift- Monday-Friday- 2:30pm-11:00pm

Hyundai Glovis Georgia, a tier one logistics and warehouse supplier to Kia Motors Manufacturing in West Point, Georgia currently has an opening for a 2nd Shift Yard Drivers. The Yard Driver will be responsible for:

• Ensuring timely delivery of parts to customer.
• Continual movement of 53' trailers to and from docks and container yard.
• Strapping and securing loads within trailers using load bars and straps.
• Completing paperwork accurately including: delivery information and pre-check inspections.
• Loading and unloading dollies as needed.

Minimum Skills Required:

• High School Diploma / GED (Documentation required)
• Valid Commercial Driver's License
• Ability to drive and successfully dock and park tractor trailers up to 53'
• Ability to push and pull dollies continuously for 8 hour shifts
• Ability to constantly climb up and down to enter and exit tractors throughout shift.
• Ability to unwind landing gear multiple times daily
• Ability to park and move trailers in very tight and restricted areas All applicants considered for employment must pass an on-site driving, parking and backing evaluation test as well as demonstrate the ability to perform pre-inspection tractor and trailer test.

3rd shift hours are 2:30 pm -11:00 pm (non-rotating shifts). Applicants must also be able to work overtime as needed, including Saturday and Sunday.
